DIY Silver Glitter Captoes!

1. Get any old shoe of yours you want to revamp. I used my cutout shoes.

2. Cover the rest of the shoe, it is optional, if you don't like mess and don't mind cleaning it up later you
Might as well skip this part.

3. Put some glue on the shoe, I used araldite that I bought from a local hardware store. This glue is one hell of a gun.. It can glue almost anything although a lot of patience is required.

4. Get your glitter and start sprinkling evenly.

5. And keep sprinkling....

6. Voila!!! It's done it is real easy I have learnt that if you have spray paint it's a lot easier and comes out a lot polished. I used glitter because I was inspired by MuiMui shoes and I didn't have spray paint.

My DIY month in instagram

Hey DIY lovers,

I know it has been long since I last posted on this DIY blog and believe me it takes a lot to do so many things at the same time I have the Satin Diaries blog to work on and my twitter and facebook page and instagram. I am the most active on Instagram just because it is so easy, everytime I do something i take a picture and its up...

For those of you who do not follow me on instagram, I am putting up pictures of all my DIY post on instagram till now. I hope you like it. :)

This is a DIY of a little accessories hanger I made from a draft wood lying around my house and I did am it up a little more from that the nails are a lot more prettier :) I ll have the detailed Step by step post soon.

This is a DIY of a pink ombre dye I did on one of my plain old white tees. I ll put up the step by step post on this soon. :D

This is a studded converse I made and I didn't really take the time to photograph it step by step because this is pretty easy all you need is some studs I got mine from my friends belt. lol

This is a silver captoe DIY inspired by MUIMUI shoes. The details ll be up in the preceding posts.

DIY on boyfriend's shirt, I cut the sleeves and added some golden and silver safety pins for that extra edge. :)

DIY Boho-Hippy fringe shirt

Hey loves,

How are you guys? Like seriously.....???

Anyway I am still very much in the summer mood, and even if I wanted to get out of the summer mood the weather here in Bangkok will never let me. It is scorching hot, This is my story every morning so here it goes. I get up at around 6.30 or 7.00 ish...and take my shower, make my hair do my make-up and get all decked up and leave my room around 9.00 am. After which I take the bike since my school is real close, and in the process of my 2 minute journey to school on the bike the irony is by the time I reach my class am feeling hot as hell and sweating like crazy..haha..Its my everyday story trust me!!! (P.s the sweating like crazy part might just be a little exaggerated) But nothing stops me from my morning rituals.

This DIY is inspired by summer like my previous DIY except that this is a lot easier and funkier. I have overdosing on my Hipster mode and hence this very bohemian-Hipster inspired DIY. The shirt I used here is an old over sized T-shirt of my boyfriend's. he actually wanted to throw it but I don't throw a single piece of clothing be it old or damaged. You never know when it ll come handy. So anyway I used his shirt and turned it into this chic fringe shirt. I hope it inspires you guys to do one yourself.  Feel free to post up some DIY project you have done. I could do a lot of learning too.

I hope you guys keep looking ahead to post on Satin Diaries, I have an inspirational post I am working on and some guest bloggers and so many new people. I am so excited. :D

Please follow me on Blogger if you can, as you can see it is a new blog and I barely have anyone and if you want to be updated on any posts by me please please DO SO. It would mean a lot to me.

happy days ahead.

DIY ombre/dip dyed shorts/cutoffs

So here is a really simple DIY to put good use to your old jeans that you dont like, or its too old or you think its out of fashion. All it requires it a little work and no cost at all. And every bit of your work ll be worth it....like seriously. You haven't already done this you should, and if you have attagirl!!!

5. Just soak it in for as long as you want. I soaked mine for almost 3 days...and I put in some other clothes too, I just wanted some color to transfer on to my shorts.

I hope this proves helpful to you guys.

Much summer love,
L

My first official DIY

Hi readers,

Its june, and summer is officially HERE!!! I love everything about summer, just walking around in shorts and flip flops, a lot of color everything seems vibrant. It is all positive energy, and yes of course I hate the sweating and getting tired part but that is nothing compared to the joy of summer.

And as you can see, yea I started this new DIY blog, which I wont be posting as often but I will try. Now you must be thinking why a different blog and not on my SD blog when I can barely keep up with one lol, its because firstly I like things in order and secondly because DIY's are so helpful like seriously. I am just trying to prove fashion and style don't always come with a price and I would love it if any of you have any DIY's you would like to share with pictures of course and I ll pay proper credits.

Follow me if you love DIY's and I ll up posting one up soon.

Much love
